Learn to groom your own dog
1 afternoon spent to learn new skills and save a lifetime of grooming expenses!
This is a half day course specifically designed for those wanting to learn to groom their own dog at home.
You can bring your own dog to us for the afternoon and learn how to create the style you like and gain the skills you need to work at home on your own dog, saving a lifetime of grooming costs and giving you a new set of skills.
Pupils are instructed by Level 3 City and Guilds qualified and experienced tutors in the Cricklade salon.
£185 inc. your dog's groom, payable 2 weeks in advance.
Salon experience day
Considering grooming as a career? This is your chance to try it out in a professional supportive environment.
This day is perfect for those people who want to experience working in a fully operational professional grooming salon. The experience will help you decide if Grooming is the right career choice or direction for you as well as build your confidence in general Grooming.
15-17 yrd olds, this day is discounted by over 50% to £90 payable 2 weeks in advance.
18 and over / adults: £185 payable 2 weeks in advance.
Learn to groom professionally
20 days training to learn how to be a dog groomer.
Our 20 day course is aimed at those who wish to learn the practical skills needed to enable them to open their own salon, either at a commercial premises or within their home.
The course is part-time, and focuses on building practical skills needed to groom the common breeds and 5 main coat types that groomers encounter. SPRUCE has many breeds for pupils to gain experience with.
Pupils are instructed by a Level 3 City and Guilds qualified tutor in the Cricklade salon, 1 - 3 or 4 days per week, with the course spread out accordingly to suit the learner. A basic starter kit and course manual is provided for each student.
£3000 for 20 days, payable 2 weeks in advance.
Half days or reduced period courses are £85 per half day or £170 per full day inc. VAT
