Heather- I am the owner of SPRUCE and Hattie our cockerpoo. I have the C and G L3 and ADVANCED higher Diploma in Dog Grooming.
We are proud to have now had 8 apprentices at SPRUCE, working to achieve their City and Guilds Level 2 qualifications.
Our last 3 qualified students achieved a DISTINCTION! Most apprentices stay on to work for SPRUCE upon achieving their City and Guilds qualifications.
Kittie, (possibly the tidiest groomer in the County!) joined us in 2022 as an apprentice, and brings a wealth of skills from her background in hairdressing.
Lucie is a shining example of progression through talent at SPRUCE- from a one day a week college placement, to Apprentice (she got a DISTINCTION!), Lucie is now our Cricklade DUTY MANAGER.
This is my long- suffering husband Jason, who is at the heart of SPRUCE, supporting me, keeping all equipment working, and fulfilling SPRUCE DIY duties admirably. Qualified in IT and project management!
Madi and Niamh joined us to complete their volunteering for their silver and bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards. They were both huge assets to the Saturday team, and their love for dogs clearly shines through.
